Does anyone know of any decent grass livery options in East Sussex please? I'm looking for somewhere to keep my youngster out for a few months.

I will be travelling quite a bit with my job over the next 2-3 months so it would need to be somewhere where the horses are checked daily. Youngster is very easy and straightforward and is fine to live out.

Any suggestions or contacts gratefully received :) Thanks

Whereabouts are you in East Sussex and how far do you want to travel and what is the size of your youngster, mare/gelding?
Please PM if you prefer. Thanks.

Hi, I'm based in Wadhurst and willing to travel up to 20 miles, because of my job travel at the moment though, I ideally need someone to just check her during the week for me.

I'm obviously happy to pay a bit extra for this. I can be down at weekends. She is a 16 hand mare. She is fully insured with up to date vaccinations and is used to living out. Thanks

I was thinking of East Chiltington for you but thats approx. 26 miles from Wadhurst so its a bit far out. May I suggest that you post another post and put Grass livery wanted 20 miles radius of Wadhurst (E. Sussex) and see if you get a better response. Just an idea. Hope you find something soon. Good Luck.

How about Battle area? My old property is rented by a nice guy called Jim Goddard, he does livery and might do grass (google Jim Goddard Horses).

Hi, I'm just about to rent a huge 11 acre field in East Sussex, just down the road from East Grinstead/ Newick area in between Danehill and Sheffield Park. Excellent off road hacking which also leads off road to a local equestrian centre which rents out its sand school and jumping fields and holds weekly clear rounds and summer shows etc. At the moment just my cob mare and 2 welsh ponies so looking for nice people to share it with (fed up with yard politics and want a quiet life, hence move to a field!!!). Basic field with water trough but hedges and trees for natural shelter. if you're interested please let me know!

Hi there, how much do you charge for a horse sharing your field? I haven't got a horse yet, am gathering information about keeping one at the moment. Am hoping to find a laid back cob soon. :)
