Have just bought my first house in Church Crookham and will be moving in the next couple of months so am looking out for yards in the area that will offer 24/7 grazing.

My horse is a 15.1hh gelding. 21 years old. Barefoot and has always lived out. Not too concerned about facilities as he is semi retired now.

Think its called Albion stables, its at the back of Zebon copse, off the round a bout outside Redfields Garden centre. ther is also a couple of yards on the main Odiham/farnham road, Redfields farm just back from redfields Lane and another yard going towards Farnham, on the right.. theres loads more down Dogmersfiels way, which is a mile or 2 away. go for a drive.:)

If your looking for 24/7 turnout all year your in for a struggle in this area!

Local yards include
Albany Farm (Zebon Copse)
Hurst Farm, Hungerford Livery(both in Winchfield on the Dogmersfield side)
A yard down near Winchfield train station
Westfield Equestrian (Odiham)
Pilcot Farm (Dogmersfield) but think there's a waiting list!

Plenty of small private yards tucked away in Crondall and Hartley Wintney and as you only have one horse, it will be relatively easy to find places just depends on what turnout you want:) My old yard near Farnham Castle, they all live out 24/7 and it's very quiet up there and only a small herd with a few retirees and hacking ponies.

I'm at Brookmeadow Farm in Dogmersfield but the farmer insists you take a stable even if your horse lives out and I think he has just filled the last two but still maybe worth asking.
