Grass livery needed near camberley

Surrey Grazing have retirement grazing in Oxshott and I think they also have a place in Worplesdon called Bonnyshott Wood (?) which is grass livery with a school. A friend has retired her horse to Oxshott and it's a pretty stable herd with alot of space and shelter with regular checks.

Hi we dont do grass livery but can do retirement livery, horses are out all day whatever the whether and in at night. Let me know if interested, we are near hartley witney.

That would be me. :)

I'm happy with the horse there, mostly because I'm quite keen on "rustic" and having space, a stable herd, shelter and someone around but not regular handling or lots of people coming and going. The horse is happy, the people are sensible, and the facilities, for the purpose, are excellent. It's also very business-like, which appeals to me a great deal!

I looked around a lot and, surprisingly, it's easier said than done to find a place where horses can live out but conditions are always (within reason) good. There are two horses where mine are whose owners live in the Camberly area, which surprises me as it's quite a trek over. The other two places I liked were even further afield, in Farnam (Frensham Manor) and Petersfield (Southdowns). I did also have some suggestions further afield - it depends on how accessible you want the horse to be.

I know the place Scarlett suggested - definitely worth a look! I would consider it for mine if he wasn't settled where he is.

It's also worth putting a note up in feed stores etc.. I do hear of people taking a horse every now and then as a "companion" in a private yard, although obviously one has to be careful with that sort of arrangement.
