Hi all.

I posted about this not so long ago but unfortunately the place I moved to turned out to not be so suitable and we have also been asked to leave due to my horses cribbing (fencing is old and not electrified and so has been damaged which I am mortified about and will be paying for- never had the issue before because he's always been kept where there's electric fencing!)

I have previously seen the following places: Bonnishot farm near worplesdon, Hill place farm in Bisley, Send Barns Equestrian near west end, the retirement grazing in west byfleet (can't remember its name), Poplar Grove near Chobham and probably 1 or 2 more.

Horse is retired so facilities are unimportant, in an ideal world I'd love to find a private yard where he could act as companion but I could still go up daily (would be happy to help YO with their horses if necessary) but at the end of the day good grazing, some shelter and maintenance are what really matters.

I'm just about to start a new job in Guildford, so something Woking/Chobham/Guildford direction would be handy.
So if anyone can recommend anywhere other than the above- either to go to or avoid!- could you please PM me.

Will be doing the rounds of chobham rider/buttons etc for notices and have searched online and got 1 or 2 numbers already but find personal recommendation always handy.
Thanks

Hello

I am also looking for the same I have a 17hh retired gelding who is all the way down in Wales and its costing me a bomb! I also have a nearly 2 year old so looking for grass livery with good grazing, fencing, shelters and or stables so please let me know if you find anything. I live in Bagshot thanks :-)

I too would like to find grass livery but with full facilities in the area, but it's easier said than done. Mine are at the place you mention in West Byfleet, it's called West Halll Livery and now caters for any horse and not just retired ones.
I have to say, my horses are very happy there, happy because they are chiiled out in herds in big fields.
But I'd love to have a floodlit arean, better still an indoor school but most of these places don't do grass livery.
