I've got the chace of taking on a field, it has water and a field shelter but no electric, I'm mainly interested as I'm getting a yearling, the grazing is good not sure how many acres exactly but room for a few more horses so I think I'm going to take on some grass liveries as my other horses are happ where they are and one doesnt hack out so i cant hack to sandschool or anything it has to be on site, grazing is in high demand where i am in Sussex, its so hard to find anywhere, its available from august, so my question is how much would you charge for this pw/pm and do you have your horses out 24/7 over winter or will i find people only want it for summer? Thaks

I used to pay £7.50 per week for grass livery. I now pay for a stable on a yard for my mare and have my youngster on grass livery for £10 per week. That is cheap though.

Not everyone wants there horses out 24/7, they think they NEED stables but after all we invented stables not horses.
Mine live out 24/7 all year. Wouldn't have it any other way.

I paid £20 a week for the same set up

my lad lived out for 2yrs and loved it,only in now as others at new yard come in and he happy to do as they do,lol

I have 3 acres for which I pay £10 p/w per horse, three horses atm so that £120 p/m. It's well fenced with running water but shelter is only provided by large hedges on two sides. It's nice though because it's behind the landowners house set well back from road so no-one even really knows my horses are there :0)
