Grass must be coming through!!

One of my horses hates being out in winter. As soon as he sees me he comes screaming across the field to be brought in!! But yesterday he actually walked away from me! Only a few strides but it's a definite sign the grass is coming through! I think we may have made it to the other side of the wettest winter I've ever known!!

Definitely. My rested field is totally waterlogged but you can't see the puddles any more because the grass is so long.

One of mine is in due to her hock injections so the other pony has a section of lawn to graze, I’m hoping 48 hours rest and the big field will become a summer meadow

The vet said yesterday he’s seen a rise in laminitis the past week or two so it’s definitely growing.

Definitely growing, and dare i say it.. drying up a bit too. I actually managed to roll one of the fields the other day

Certainly growing in Yorkshire - my fatty had been degrading himself enough to eat straw chop a little - that has been firmly rejected in the last few days.
