Hi, I've been feeding my horse grass nuts since about October last year and found them to be really good at putting on weight. Anyway, I just wondered how people feed them? At the minute he only has half a stubbs scoop in his morning breakfast with Alfa a oil and sugarbeet. Do others feed them in these sort of small quantities or do you give large amounts? Thanks, hope that makes sense.

I feed them as complete hay replacer for horse with no teeth, so (unsoaked vols) 2 stubbs scoops 3 time a day (each tub split into 2!) I soak for many hours so volume is much more when fed

I feed ours them, in similar quantity to you, adjusting according to horse weight.
I use them on our foals too( soon to be yearlings). One was very poor when we got him,and combined with Allen and Page youngstock mix, plus barley and feed balancer, he in particular is dong well.
