could i feed grass pellets dry?
I use R+ for my horse and i have a bin full of grass pellets left over from my other horse and need to find a purpose for them and if i could use them as training treat that would be perfect.

I wouldn't use grass pellets due to the amount they expand when soaked.

For R+ treats I've always used Thunderbook hay cobs as they don't need to be soaked prior to feeding.

No, I gave my horse a small handful of dry pellets (bag said they could be fed dry as treats) and he presented with colic like symptoms. In the end he was just very bloated but still a scary experience!
Baileys Fibre Nuggets (20kg bag) are good for treats

Depends on the make, mine have 50grms dry added to their feed.
