Pictures Grass, rain growing up and growing old

Desperately need to spread limestone on my fields as analysis said they're really acidic. No point without any rain to wash it in, though, so the paddocks are looking very bare

Our fields are absolutely parched too. Not one to usually wish for the grass to grow but my 2y/o needs Dr. Green right now. Going to have to start giving her feeds at this rate if we have no rain soon as there is just nothing on the fields.

What beautiful pictures though- all the colours, green trees, blue sky, gorgeous grey ponies (and all those FLAT fields! as someone whose entire equine experience these days is trudging up and down brutal Devon hills with kids on a lead rein, I'm very jealous of the FLAT fields)

Sending you my fat appaloosa. I am not even strip grazing and she's still a hippo.

Bare paddock is what she needs but I think our water table is still doing well after winter.
