I live in bedfordshire and have recently lost my horse to grass sickness. I just want to warn everyone about this horrible disease. There are so many cases going undiagnosed as the symptons are so similar to colic. I am doing a grass sickness awarness on facebook and if anyone would like to support it this is my link

On there you will find information and links to find out as much as possible.
it is such a horrible disease one minute i had a happy healthy horse, 24 hrs later he was put to sleep having been diagnosed with grass sickness, which was later confirmed.
the high risks months are April- July with May being the highest risk. Please read up on this.
