Grass???

Can any one tell me when the grass stops being dangerous?? (if that makes sense) Ive got a Warmblood and he is living on thin air at the moment!! Roll on winter! x

do you mean when it stops growing. ? if so that depends on the weather. If we have a long summer the grass will still be growing for months.

This hot humid weather with no rain stops grass growing. I don't know about you but we have not had rain for two weeks so most of it is brown. if you get rain and good amounts of sun grass grows all summer until potentially late October depending on when the daily frosts kick in.

The 'peak' danger times are spring and autumn. During the summer it will depend largely on weather conditions. We have had a very hot dry spell and the grass stopped, but overnight we had torrential rain and we can already see the grass greening up agan.

Our grass is still green and lush. There are new green shoots that are about three inches long now as well.
