Grass!

Does anyone else have more grass now than they did throughout the summer? - gotta love the British weather!

Yes i have loads of grass and winter fields that we have not moved on to yet. Should save on hay this year as i have natives and really don,t need alot of hard feed just a bit of happy hoof and speedi beet.

Well the top half of my paddock is looking very green, too blooming green! 1 inch at a time i think when moving the fence back over winter!

my top paddock is lovely and green, theyve only been off it a matter of 3 weeks. my winter field is full of lush green grass - so much so ive had to strip it into 2 fields. at least its stopping me giving them haylage already

I've still got loads in fact about 5 acres for two horses.

Remember folks, this flush of late grass is exactly the same as spring grass, with all the associated problems.

yes, i agree - have just brought a new grazing muzzle for one of my little ponies, they are going over to their winter paddock shortly and the grass looks very green
