Witch grass is best to put a lammi prone horse on to witch ever i do it will be striped grazed. Long maturer grass or just very short grass next to nothing?
Short grass although you still need to restrict this when it starts growing in the spring and autumn. The new shoots coming through at this time are loaded with sugar and that is what your horse will be eating if they are on short cropped grass.
