Grass!!!!

The front of my field over the last two weeks has got quite muddy with no grass I want to stop thiS before it gets anyworse so I have fenced the front half of my field off! Do you have any ideas how i can get the grass to grow back in this area! someone sudjested to put hay down the seed will make it grow ?? do i wait for it to dry ect.. help please ........

Just buy some grass seed and chuck it on.

Could use hay seed - we use our hayalge seeds and they grow - or local seed/agricultural merchant will sell grass seed for paddcks by the acre bag - I bough 2 last week for £24 each - you will need to fence it off though
