How hard can it be to find somewhere suitable??

To cut a long story short, both my boys live out 365, 24/7. One is retired and can't handle being in at all so if he's happy being out, I'm happy. I have them on a field which is OK but have been informed yesterday that another livery is taking some of our field, and new horses are arriving that will be going in with my boys and the others they live out with. So less field, more horses. Its already hard enough getting my boys out to feed them etc and my younger one is already bottom of the pecking order! This is about the final straw now and I need to find somewhere for them. I've spent hours searching the net for land to rent, grazing - even been ringing local farms today to see if anyone would be willing to rent me a few acres but having no luck.

Does anyone know where is a good place to look or know of any farms local to Altrincham/Wilmslow/Mobberley/Knutsford that might offer grazing, grass livery or land to rent? I have ads all over the local horsey websites too and have had a few responses but all either miles away or just offering stabling which I don't want.

Land is pecious in Cheshire so it's really hard to find. It's all dairy grass. I know somewhere that's not advertised near holmes chapel and somerford but it's not acres to rent for yourself, it's with others.
 
Brook House Farm do grass livery, they're CW3 9JT. If you interested easiest thing is just to turn up at the yard. Is £25pw including hay/hayledge.
 
Thanks all for your replies - this was quite an old thread and Im happy to say that I've found a lovely place for them now!! 5 mins from home and they have 17 acres to roam around in - I think they're as pleased as I am!

I'm looking for something similar in a similar area do you have room for one more or no of anywhere?

Since the last post I have moved my boys and I now have my own little place in Nether Alderley. Unfortunately I can only have 3 horses on it - terms of the rental agreement. I see from your ad you have 2 horses so am afraid I can't help. Its so hard to find somewhere - I came across my little place by complete accident. I know of another field not too far away but its not got any stables or shelter just trees and its a bit of a pain to get to but if you want details please PM me. Hope you get something sorted soon x
