Hi guys long shot but I’m looking for grazing for my horse preferably around the burton/Carlton area of Lincoln, open to other areas close by but must have good hacking! I’m not interested in livery purely just a field of at least 1 acre for a 17hh horse. Don’t need a school as I just hack. Looking to be charged just for the field per month and field owner must be happy with the potential of another horse on the land. Doesn’t have to have running water as happy to sort own out however this would be helpful. Happy to sort any fencing and field maintenance myself. Any extra facilities would be a bonus I.e. stable/store/hard standing/field shelter/electric but is not essential, I’m honestly just happy with the bare minimum as long as the field owner is decent and easy to deal with lol. Was wondering if anyone knew of anything, I know trying to find land in Lincoln is like gold dust but thought it’s worth a shot! I can provide references from people and I’m pretty easy going, I just like to be left to it when it comes to my horse :) any help greatly appreciated!

What about the common grazing by the old racecourse?

Thank you for the suggestions but not a chance in hell. I’m not slating it off as I think it’s lovely to see horses in such a natural set up, but it’s just not for me, I know too many people who have had horses on there and the never ending issues they’ve always had (and yes I know people still get issues in private fields) I want to be able to have control over how I manage my grazing.

There's a yard in Burton - I can't remember the name, but its on the sharp left hand corner as you go out of Burton - they may do grazing.
