Hi,
We're looking at buying a house on the outskirts of Malton. It's got a couple of acres of grazing with a small pond. No direct road access, access is through the house's garden. There's currently no building, stabling etc. on it.

I know nothing of keeping horses. Any advice on whether it would be practical to rent it out, and, if so, how to proceed, greatly appreciated.

Thanks+++
Roger

My immediate thought is you d get fed up of someone trekking through your garden to get access to paddocks. A couple of acres may appeal to someone with two small ponies..pond would have to be fenced off. Without looking at fencing and the type of land it’s difficult to know if horsey folk could use it.
