When a horse is grazing 'eating small amounts' of grass in a field all day?
Would you call it; trickle feeding, drip feeding or steady feeding??
Thanks in advance xx

It depends totally on the type of grazing and the grazer. :D As the grass is at the moment,(ie none!) I'd say mine was trickle grazing, plus extra hay is put out to pick at.

Once there is any length to the grass then mine will gorge, and frequently gets gassy colic if unrestricted on good grazing, so definitely doesn't trickle feed then!

Drip feeding I'd associate with small amounts given at intervals and steady feeding would be an unlimited supply of varying amounts, to me anyway.
