ok so the welshie has a patch of dry itchy scaly skin just above the fetlock on the tendon area its quite scabby but not at all sore the scabs flake off its just really dry.
I cant seem to get rid of it he stabled not in mud clean dry legs no grease anywhere else on him but he loves to itch this spot.
Ive tried pig oil, vasaline, udder cream, e45 cream, tea tree, hibiscrub, antiseptic but it just wont shift it kept coming up in the summer too
any ideas what i can try next?
thank you

2 of mine have had greasy heel - one on a regular basis. The ONLY thing that clears it up is to make a paste of sudocrem, sulphur powder & tea tree oil. Apply daily, hibiscrub wash every 5 days, and continue to apply daily until after it's gone. Then just keep an eye on it, cos it's a pain for coming back!
You can get sulphur powder really cheap off ebay. You only need a small amount (i buy about 100g). Good luck :)
