Great Dane needs new home

I think he has yes, but he's really struggling to come to terms with doing this but is aware that Doug isn't getting the best home right now so is having to put the dog first and bite the bullet.
 
He is gorgeous - but I think 2 Danes is my limit!

I read through some of the posts on the link and I know your friend wasn't keen about him going to rescue and ending up in kennels - but some of the breed rescues place the dogs in foster homes while they look for new homes and they might be able to help find a suitable owner while Douglas stays in his current home.

I'm not sure if he's cat proof- I'll ask- but it may have to wait untill tomorrow- but I'll text him now and find out. Yes his OH left him with the mortgage and he's basically having to walk long hours in order to pay the bills which means Doug isnt getting enough time spent on him.
