i need some help with an advert. My very novicy friend has asked me to sell her horse which is fab but also can be 'difficult'. All its issues are related to the amount of work it recieves. I took it on full livery over the summer and worked it everyday for an hour and had no problems whatsoever, got some real good schooling in and competed her scoring in the mid to high 60's. My friend has a ft job, 3 young kids and a demanding husband so is only riding once a week now so she is being 'difficult' again as she has too much energy and no job to do and is a very intelligent tb mare. I dont jump due to an old injury but one of the grooms had jumping lessons on her ovr the summer and we were schooling over 1.20 m with fillers and didn't even reach her limit but found if the rider wasn't 100% sure she would run out.
Her issue are:
has a mean buck if over excited due to lack or work or scared
if no work or turnout (IE the snow) rears in hand and tries to set off across the yard.
if not worked regularly tries to gallop off on the lunge but stops trying if lunged in pessoa/bridle
all her issues are work related, with plenty of work and life exp she will be a great comp horse but i have got 2 horses now and have gone back to work so i cant take her on. My friend is a total novice and cant do a thing with her whereas i can get on and win a novice test with her when she is fit. how do i advertise her and not attract the wrong sort or put people off? She is 15.2 so may attract kids!
