If anyones interested of this weekends course description seeing as there are many of us going....
SJing is up to height IMO, there was no difference in height to the Novice treble and theres no small stuff to get you into it either. The 7th fence measured more like 1.10 if you ask me!
Anyway, they are more like the JO course in the BN last week than PN but we shall try.

Fence one, usual nice brush fence to get you on your way, gallop down slight incline to fence 2 just a simple palisade.
Fence three off a turn very bright log oxer with a table top - all very nice and gets you on your way.
Fence 4 the hanging beams have been re-positioned this year on a slight curve on 3 strides so should be easier and less for the horse to see when it comes round the corner, this fence caused a lot of problems in 2005.
Fence 5 rather LARGE hayrack, well stacked in bales of straw, slight drop on the other side so watch for a peck on landing if you stand off it.
Fence 6 nice big hedge oxer - quite narrow but Novice fence should hold you in nicely.
Fence7A drop fence, PN have to come off to the left and the arrow head at B is on a curve, so you really have to get your line here, slightly worried because we usually launch off drops in style.
Fence 8 rather large hanging log going down hill so you wont want to fly it too much.
Belt down the hill to fence 9, nice simple set of slanted rails, nice little let up fence before a set of houses at Fence 10ab second part slightly angled.
Fence 11 nice chair, another simple fence before the pheasant feeder at 12.
Belt back up the hill to fence 13 stone wall, slight drop the other side turn to the B part - plenty of room, just watch out for the odd rock which has been put in the way.
Fence 14 run into the pond, and out the otherside over a nice half roll top.
Heading for home now to fence 15 simple hanging log, fences are getting smaller now - prob some tired ponies towards the end of this course.
Fence 16 is the last, flower bed, filled with lavendar. Just watch out here because the sjing is right next to it along with the lorrys/home, so just make sure pony is paying attention.
Theres a long gallop to the finishing flags btw.
