I would honestly sell the young cob and buy something more suitable for a first time owner. Also, the longer you have her the greater the risk is that she will learn some more bad habits, that could have been nipped in the bud with a more experienced owner, making the horse even harder to sell.

Horses should be fun, not making you depressed and anxious.
