Have used GG from Fieldguard in the past, and although it's a superb product their delivery rates are rather high (quoted £13 for x2 2litre bottles) so I was wondering if anyone's found anything equally as effective and sweet smelling to use over rubber mats to keep smells at bay?

Was wondering if ZoFlora might work or if it's poisonous?

Apparently postage is actually only £7.00 but they don't include VAT onto their listed prices. Grrrrr.... I hate it when companies do that as most of us aren't businesses who can claim back our VAT

Anyone use Zoflora in their stable?

I use GG as well and I have to say I have never found a better alternative. I know it is a bit of a cost but I find it worth it I have tried all sorts in the past but I still find this stuff to be the best. Sorry can not be of more help.

Just had a look at the label on my Fieldguard Green Gloop and it says it is also a chemical toilet fluid so if it's the same stuff it should be easy enough to buy without having to pay postage?

There must be a home made alternative, maybe like mixing tea tree oil with something - maybe water and some washing up liquid?

Could you order green gloop from your local saddlery, therefore eliminating postage?

Hi all. Hope you don't mind me jumping in here! I'm very please that you all like our Green Gloop :) Sorry about the delivery charge but we are charged by the kilo by our carriers. We do have a few stockist around the country, if you would be kind enough to give us a call I'd be happy to let you know if there's one near you. The reason for not quoting VAT on our website and price list is that a high proportion of our business is International and therefore not subject to UK VAT and we feel that it would not be practical to show both so we just go with the "All goods sold within the E.U. subject to UK VAT" line on our website. Although Green Gloop can be used in toilets it's really not the same so the reverse is not necessarily the case. Not sure about a home made version Naturally! Thanks again. Fieldguard.
