For 2 days now I've found 2 or 3 blobs of green snot outside my stable. It's not right by my door, looks like it's been blown there, if that makes sense? My horse doesn't have a cough even when exercised, and I've not seen anything running down his nose. Their is nothing inside the stable in his water bucket etc. I've started to soak his hay just incase. Can they have a snotty nose without a cough present?

What did the vet say?
Sounds like a mild infection going on or blocked sinuses.
My horse occassionally has thick white snot and my vet has told me that its inflammation coming out her nose from a allergy she has taken.

He said if it goes a yellow custard colour then I need to give him antibiotics. He is not coughing and it's gone a little whiter today so going better. I've started to soak his hay which seems to of helped. 2 others on the yard have had it too but they had a cough, so seems like something is going around.
