I have been given a headcollar, which I assume is a large its got 60 on a small white label.
The padded headpiece wont do up as its far too short. On looking at a pic on one of the websites it seems as if there is another strap like a throat lash? I dont have this bit. Is there a strap extension for larger headed horses. Mine is in a cob headcollar but this doesnt go anywhere near him over his head ? Im probably being thick but Ive never seen one of these headcollars in the flesh

A greenguard headcollar is virtually the same as a normal headcollar except you have a ring on top of noseband to attach the muzzle. If bought new you would also get an optional strap that goes from headpiece (poll) to noseband, to prevent muzzle being pulled off. You also get a strap that can be threaded through headpiece which would act as extra 'throatlash' again to prevent removal of muzzle/headcollar. This is only necessary for extreme muzzle escape artists!!!! Hope this helps!
