Greenguard Muzzle (New design)

Hi,

As you may have seen, I have stated that I didn't find the old type Greenguard muzzles worked. I have not tried one since the new bigger design so wondered what other peoples opinion of them was. I would like to try one again as I hate the bucket ones as well, but if it keeps my horse alive then I'll carry on using this type. Its the cost that puts me off, I don't want to spend £50+ to find this design doesn't work either and put my horse at risk !

Cant help with commenting on the new design but I had one of the old ones for my 11.2hh welshie and loved it! They are brilll cause they allowed her turnout without the fear of her getting porkie!!!

I bought the new style Greenguard Muzzle at the start of last summer , and its fantastic , i used it 12 hours per day for 5 months last year , and i have No complaints at all , my horse never got it off, or pushed it aside , and it never rubbed at all . i have now started using it again this year .

i had also tried all the other types of grazing muzzle and i was not pleased at all, as they all rubbed my horse badly !!

Hi, I had the old style and my mare just pushed it to one side.

I bought the new one last year with the halter and she keeps it on and cant seem to push it over any way. I do like this one.
