Greeting nose to nose?

Between your dog and other dogs, I mean.

Noticed when we were in Central Park today that Stella almost always does a nose to nose greeting, and often doesn't bother with the butt sniffing--not unless it's an unfixed male dog. With one dachshund, in particular, they spent *ages* rubbing noses.

Anyone else's dog seem mostly to do the eskimo?

Stella's such a lady! My Whippet ignores most dogs unless it's her favorite breed - Cavalier King Charles - she adores them because of their silky coats. Tilly the BT has no manners and usually greets anything and anyone front paws first!

Boris Greets by saying hello to their asses of any sexes! He's such a character and he's so damn deaf at recall i often get so embarrassed to drag him off the vitcim's ass! Although at 1 and bit year old he started to take no notice of other dogs and conterates on his tennis ball.

Stella is the queen of Boston terriers... Love her!

everytime! Haz was a very nose to nose dog unless they were particularly rank and stinky behind then he's get straight in there! Filthy mutt!

Stella particularly loves going nose to nose with bulldogs.

But any dog will do, really
