Well, once again, I am stuck in pony jail. It started a few days ago, when my foot hurt a bit. I'd had a few quiet days in the field with my friends, after the place with all the other horses and the jumpies and the tasty food, which was good, because I was pretty tired! But then when we went over to the square place with the roof on, my foot hurt when we were making some trot circles. It didn't hurt a lot, and I was happy to keep going, but the Carrot Lady got off, and we walked back home, which was ok too. What's NOT ok is that then, she put me in pony jail!
At least I'm not alone here in pony jail this time! The little yellow mare (not the one I went for a long trot in the woods with that lives next door, but another one that is smaller and has really short ears) was there again, and her friend, an old bay mare that's only a bit smaller than me. The little yellow mare tried it on at first over the hay nets, but I showed her who's boss!
Actually, I'm not usually boss, but they both seem to respect my faces that I made. Maybe I should learn to stand up for myself more with my friends in the big field?
So the company is ok, really. What's not at all ok, is that there's no proper grass in here!
So that's why we were arguing over the haynets.
The Carrot Lady spent quite a bit of time in here yesterday, picking plants and putting them in a thing with a wheel on. Presumably she's planning to eat them later, but they're a kind that really isn't good to eat.
I suppose there's no accounting for taste! She eats bananananas too, and they're not very good to eat, either: too soft! Not crunchy enough! The little yellow mare tried to go take a look at the piles of bad plants a couple of times, but she got told off!

I did visit with the Carrot Lady lots, though, and got lots of scratches. And some carrots.
Today, she came and gave me another carrot, twice, but the first time, she also brought the long blue-and-red stick with a wavy bit on, and made me trot around in circles! The second time, she also brought me my red square thing, so I liked that time better.
I licked the red square thing lots, and she left it in the pony jail with me!
So anyway, although it could definitely be worse in here, I do hope I get to come out soon. Why am I always stuck in here when it's nice out, and when my foot hurts?
