Gremlin insulation!

I thought this pic was so interesting. It's -4 here at the moment, and this particular gremlin was partially clipped a couple of months ago. He is covered in frost everywhere else, but the clipped part, although mostly grown out, is clearly not nearly as well insulated.
They are remarkably good at creating their own micro-climates, til we come along and screw it up!

Two of them are trouble! Ivan (piebald) is cheeky and naughty and funny and Wills (grey spotty) is a cantankerous little git! Duncan (tiny skewbald) is an absolute angel - the shitland is not strong in that one!
