Grey horse... or is it palomino??

I have just aquired my first grey horse... 1 day later he is yellow!

Being winter I don't really want to bath him alot. But when I do is there any really good shampoo's or stain removers that get legs and a tail bright white?

I have had a grey for almost 20 years and have tried allsorts. It wasn't until recently when I purchased a foal with 4 big white stockings that I was introduced to the whitening ability of 'Fairy Liquid'! I washed the younsters stockings for a show with normal horse shampoo when the YO who I bought said youngster off came round the corner and asked me if I had washed them. When I said yes she tutted and handed me the bottle of Fairy. What a difference! Everyone who has seen the photos of him at the show have commented on his stockings.

Make sure you rinse it out thoroughly tho!

I only wash the end of my horse's tail in fairy as he has sensitive skin and it does a good job. I never let it touch his skin as I have seen what it does to my skin.

I used to have a grey, and I used Lynn Russell stain remover, and cowboy magic. Both of those work really well.

hmm I've heard of Daz for greys, I will give it a try, his old owner recomended cow boy magic too
