Dont you wish you had to groom him!!!!
I learned my lesson after this last year, he doesnt go out without a rug unless the field is at least part dried up!!!!
makes me glad to ride my old lad, even if you dont groom him you cant tell!!!!!
i had a brainwave the other day and put purple spray on a graze on his neck, not the best idea with his colour, took a week to get it out!!!!!! i then went and got some wound powder instead!! was getting some strange looks riding out!! lol!!!
LOL i love trying to turn bracken purple!! last time was big kick mark on her leg had such fun turnin that spot purple and as it was winter her legs where caked in zinc and castor oil! now that got some looks!! bay horse, 4 white legs to knees/hocks and one purple back leg!!!
Murphy will make some mud if there isn't any, am going to splash out one of those all in one body suits that they make now for this winter. I love the look of a nice clean grey but have now bought a dark bay, whom I get away without grooming to much and he still looks respectable.
I used to give up in winter time with Murphy unless I was going to a show or hunting and just groomed the important bits hence he looked v dirty to the casual passer by.
