Well my little man is improving in leaps and bounds. He went out into the field with his new field friends (having been alongside them for two weeks) for the first time on Saturday morning. All three of them had been worked so were tired/chilled and it really couldn't have gone better . . . especially when they all got down and rolled in perfect synchronicity - all in a line
.
He has started jumping again this week and on Saturday jumped a metre fifteen upright and a metre five parallel with ease - hurrah
. More hacking, schooling and jumping this week and then he's off to a Paul Tapner clinic on Saturday.
I can't tell you how wonderful it is a) to see him back out in the field with kind, gentle horsey friends; b) not worry about him being kicked or picked on; and c) be able to actually lift his bed and leave it up to air b/c I don't have to have him brought in so flipping early - they all come in together at about 4 p.m.
