except mine never are
confused.gif
No idea why, I always see pics of everyone elses greyhounds/whippets snuggled up together in beds... mine avoid each other at all costs
confused.gif
Every greyhound/lurcher I have ever had has been like this, what do I do wrong
confused.gif

But tonight I had to take a pic, this is the closest Flick and Islay have ever been together
grin.gif

Of course as soon as I took pic then Flick decided to get up and come and sit on the sofa with me
tongue.gif

PS - apologies for the trashed chair in the pic, it is tired of being a dog bed and was meant to go to the tip this week but I didnt get around to it
blush.gif

I asked Admin to delete me Keltic as I was trying to stop being addicted... it lasted 3 days
blush.gif
Then I couldnt use the same name of course, so I looked around for inspiration and saw the splotchy coloured greyhound...
grin.gif

LMAO

Usually they love the duvets as there are three stacked up in a pile next to the radiators, so that is their bed of choice
grin.gif
Alternatively my bed seems to be option 2
tongue.gif

The chair is a favourite of theirs too mind you, which is my excuse for not getting rid of it yet
tongue.gif
Usually it looks marginally better as it is covered with a throw

My lurchers don't sleep near each other either. Their beds in kitchen where they sleep over night are next to each other but usually one will sleep on the mat in the centre of the kitchen instead. At the moment on is a sleep in the living room with me and the other in on a bed in the kitchen.

Thank goodness Irishcobs - I was seriously beginning to wonder what I do wrong with all of mine, they never cuddle up together or play together
confused.gif
But nice to know it isnt just mine
smile.gif

Yeah mine are like this....I thought they would be like CALAs, all piled up together in one bed but no way.........and by the by, your dogs have the same duvet cover as mine
tongue.gif

LOL OOTP - Tescos value is great for dog beds
grin.gif
One of their duvets is from there too - fortunately the other two were freebies from my mum
grin.gif

Mine aren't cuddly either - i think Dom would be but Bes likes her own space and gets grumpy if Dom gets to close to her. She'll quite happily cuddle up with us though!

Well you must obviously be doing something wrong, I have seen f. ex. proof of that Cala is having no problem with making hers sleep like bits of a jigsaw puzzle fitted together...
grin.gif

Sorry, but seriously from someone not owning sight hounds but only 1 very easily feeling very frozen Cornish Rex cat, is it possible that Cala and the others that is taking pictures of their sight hounds all cuddled up together, simply has it one or a few degrees colder indoors than you do Acolyte/Splotchy? My cat lies on top of anything that she sees as a heating pad if it's chilly indoors (according to her), but above say 19 or 20 degrees C she can sleep a liiiiittle bit further away.

***FinnishLapphund leaves the thread singing for herself "Acolyte/Splotchy can't keep herself away from HHO, so I will soon be enjoying her posts a little bit here and there again..." ***

***Comes back to say*** Sorry, if it makes you happy to keep your addiction under control Acolyte/Splotchy, go for it.

See FLH, has got me sussed, she knows I only have one dog bed and that I make the dogs generate their own heat to save on the bills

You came back on the evening of your birthday and last evening (3 days later) your post count was 45, that makes an average of 11,25 posts/replies a day!

Wonder if HHO addiction can end like this

I was only going to make a post saying I'm happy if you're not only back for a temporary visit
grin.gif
and to correct myself,
blush.gif
it should have said on 4 days and not on 3, on three the post count would have been 15 not "only" 11,25.

But then I saw that since this morning, your post count has gone from 45 to 62
twister2.gif
, 17 posts, well when you come back you sure do it properly...

grin.gif

No experience of greyhounds, my Shepherds rarely curl up together, but then again no one wants to curl up with Evil Evie
tongue.gif
And will you please stop with the name changing, I read your opening post and though ooh what a coincidence someone else with greyhounds called Flick and Islay (bear in mind it is early on Sunday morning despite what the clocks say
blush.gif
).
