I have a feeling that his stud fee will make me pass out though - hence the saving up!! He is the sire of Anky's Painted Black amongst others........ I have contacted the peeps who deal with his semen and his 2007 fees will be confirmed by the end of the month!! I'm going to order a filly!! Pref. in black

Oh really? I love Painted Black, i prefer him to Salinaro (sp?) i'm a bit biased though as i love black horses especially with 4 white socks.
My God you just have to save up! Plus you'll regret it if you don't do go through with it, lol

Lol, lets just hope its not a chestnut colt then. Although will be just as stunning and gorgeous.

I'm waiting to find out! They are sending me all the info in the post + DVD's etc. I'll let you know! though I won't be doing it this year!!

I love this stallion always have. If you breed a gelding to make 16hh I will have him.

Well I hope it's not born a gelding!!!

Ha haaa - hmmmm I think that unless I breed B to a tiny stallion, anything she has will make well over 16hh! Look at Hector, he's her 1st foal! Plus she has a lot of height in her immediate ancestory and Gribaldi is 17hh!

Now that is some horse! Saw your pm last night but was too knackered to reply, sorry!

A G and a B could well be world beaters!!!!!!!!!! Let us know what the stud fee is and we'll all pass out together!

GORGEOUS!

and after a bit of googling these are his old stud fees

Chilled: £670 (stud fee). Frozen: £260 (per dose) £670 (stud fee) ...

also found this on another site

Gribaldi
£ 890 (total)
£ 80 (Each Additional Transport, Health Certificate and Tax )
50% discount on stud fee next year.

If you think thats bad you should see Sandro Hit's stud fee now I did fall over at that although admittedly its nothing in comparison to a top TB racer!!

Yummy!!! I very much like. Sounds like he'll be right out of my price range though. Let us know when you find out so I can pass out with you.

Wow that really isn't that bad, even if its a bit more than that its not bad, especially when you think of a top racing stallion like Sadler's Wells stud fee is £250,000?!
