I expect it was you making those dreadful screeches on the violin whilst sitting on the toilet that troubled him slightly.
Nope it did not, in fact the boiler man who came today seemed surprised and expressed unease that I had tried it.[/QUOTE\]

He's a professional. He knows about lightning and things.
I would imagine that as a first port of call you should consult a decent instructor - most people are saying the same thing, but saying it from experience - my instructor set out grids for me and afterwards I measured them with my own strides - I know what distance I need for a normal canter stride, a long one and however many short ones I want to try to squeeze in - but theres no point telling you exactly - your grids need to be set up with your horse in mind. A good instructor is all you need!
I go up the road and lift half a dozen and scatter them randomly round the school. Then I jump them, then I put them back. I don't need an instructor as I can go very fast, round and round to loud music. And I find a pelham is an excellent bit for jumping grids. If the spacing's a bit off, you just kick or pull to make the distances up.
Oh and always remember to video it, lol.
I can tell, from what you've said. Does he have odd frizzy hair by any chance? And smell faintly of overcooked pork?
You know him too?!!!!!![]()
Half a dozen whats? Sounds like a good idea though.
Who? BullSh*tstirrer456?
I think I may do. Is his nickname Sparky?
She really does need her sleep then doesnt she? She will have school tomorrow.
She will probably have gone to bed by now - shes only 14!
YOU ARE HAVING AN AFFAIR WITH SPARKY![]()
No, really, he's fine. He's got rubber gloves and wellies on and he's carrying an umbrella.
Don't you believe it...
Don't worry, everyone. She wont take any more notice of this advice than she has of any other we've given her![]()
I got told I was "nasty" the other day for pointing out something on her thread....can't remember who called me "nasty" and to be honest I don't really care, so on this occasion I am going to give a nice fluffy answer.....
BSJA123.....I am sorry to be unable to help you on this occasion as I don't want to give the wrong advice only to be told I am nasty, unhelpful or offensive. I do hope you work it out and I am sure you will achieve all your dreams
Is that ok Fluff lovers?

I sincerely hope that the umbrella has plastic spokes![]()
He's electric in bed - a real livewire![]()
I'm feeling a bit pathetic and fluffy though......my youngest is in hospital at Edinburgh awaiting an operation tomorrow for an "abnormal mass" in her sinuses, so she is having her face cut open and bone cut away so they can get to it......she'll be in for a week and she is such a pretty mare it will be a shame if it scars her....don't think I can go to bed and sleep even though I've been up since 5.30am!
