Do people recommend them? The stuffing in my %$%*()$ $£%$ saddle has shifted, and i need to get a decent saddlecloth to wear until it is reflocked (late next week hopefully). it is not drastic, however i want to make her feel as comfortable as possible until i get the stupid thing fixed. It has not been a good day today!

And are the saddlecloths (as opposed to numnahs) easy to get hold of? i need to buy it tomorrow morning, as have a lesson in the afternoon

I use a Sue Carson (Griffin) saddle cloth and Nu-med sheepskin half pad. Both are available easily round here (derbyshire).

I like them because we have a showjumper that has high withers but he came to us poor so we used the sheepskin to absorb any accidental pressure.

I have 3 of the half pads for my other horses too.

I use the numed half lined numnahs, and they are great. I have 2 for everyday use with a white wool lining, and a brown/brown wool lined one for posh. they fit beautifully, and the WH style is a really good fit under a VSD saddle.

Fabby, thanks guys! it makes me feel slightly better about spending so much on it
