Groom in Cambs!!

Hey Guys,

Didnt really know where to put this! But i have recently stopped working with horses! working in an office at the moment! not my dream job but I could not afford to work the hours i was working and getting paid what i was! But thats life isnt it?

Anyway I just wondered if there was anyone out there that needed a groom maybe on weekends? I'm in Cambridgeshire. Im not fussed what really just would like to have something to do with horses! Otherwise will go crazy!

Where abouts in Cambridgeshire? If you are near newmarket either the training yards or studs might need people

I dont live near there! im more near cambridge, Newmarket is a bit far out! but thanks for the reply

be a bit more specific with your area - eg cambridge city/cottenham/st neots etc. or at least a loist of the villages you can travel to... cambridgeshire is a HUGE county... there are loads of people on here from there though...

Well now then, I have an 17.3 ID/TB, 16.3 TB, a little cob, and a new forest pony to break, I lack time and money, but I am in cambridgeshire and would always welcome help although my lot might only help with the whole crazy thing *LOL* depends on where in Cambridgshire you can get to?

Hey guys,

thanks for all ur messages well im not too fussed about riding! unfortunately havent done much where i last worked and woudnt be able to offer my services to crazy beasts! lol of course i can ride and have some exams, however i dont want to say yeah i can cope with that and then cant! At least until i can get my riding back up to standard!
Im not saying im completly useless lol but im not 1 of theses people that has to ride for every bit of stable management i do! I just purely enjoy being around them and helping out! I fell a bit lost without day to day contact with horses, the silly little things u know?

On the ground however i am pretty fearless! im really looking for anyone that needs a hand at a show or maybe on weekends someone who just needs an extra hand, mucking out t/o and bringing in, lunging etc. I have had most of my experiences working with dressage horses!

Im local to the st Neots, huntingdon, St ives area.
