Has anyone used these?
I have a zoom groom but would like a brush type thing as well.
Or recommend a brush for short dense coats?

I got one for the dog and found it much worse than her rake (double coated breed), using it on the pony now but if I hadn't lost my rubber curry comb I'd probs use that instead. Your welcome to mine if you want to try it??

Do you know I used to use a rubber curry comb all the time, I’d forgotten. I suppose that’s more like the zoom groom.
Do you think a rake would be better? I have one but it’s so old it doesn’t rake much any more.
What does the groomi have? Nobbles? Bristles? I can’t see very well on my phone.
That’s a very kind offer but if you have a use for it I don’t need to deprive you. And pony.

It's like a very shallow shedding blade, too shallow to get through my girls coat. I'm going to pick up a new curry comb this week as I like the scrubbing / circular action with it on the pony that you can't do with the groomi so it's yours of you want it?

Do you have a blaster? I’ve almost done away with grooming because the blaster does such a good job. The other grooming tools I use probably once weekly or less are a Mikki rake and slicker brush.

Moobli, I rarely groom them tbh, but at the moment we are in furry Labrador foetus land!
I’ve been using the zoom groom daily but wanted another weapon.
Ffee would just DIE if I blasted her! ?

I have something similar to what Thistle posted. I bought mine in either Target or Wal-Mart on clearance and it is the best rake I've owned.

I run the twenty blade through my schnauzers legs..they don’t have razor blades. like the furminator..the wide teeth are called blades ..
in actual fact mine is by..croci ,but the same idea..this is a ten blade, which pulls, out undercoat
i think it would work well on a lab..
I do strip my schnauzers body ,but when I just want to pass through her short coat, this tool still gets loads of excess undercoat out.Mine ( croci)cost twelve euros..so not expensive..the Mars cost more.
