Do I purchase knee pads? Winch her on to a table? Construct a small ramp?

Crouching or bending down both end painfully. Doesn't help that she's a bit of a fidget.

How do you groom a mini without breaking yourself?

😆 Some excellent ideas here! Particularly like the idea of a pressure washer or a mechanics sliding trolley!

I generally don't brush her but I'm becoming slightly embarrassed about the giant poo stain covering the whole of one side of her (thinking the pressure washer would be perfect for this!), however you've convinced me just to close my eyes and pretend its not there.

With a bit of luck she'll have a good roll and cover it up with a lovely layer of thick mud.

Get it to stand on the mounting block?

Yes, this, or how about a nice dog groomers' table and some of those ties for the back and front end that they have? Might even prevent your pockets being emptied while you work. Alternatively, teach it to lie down and roll over, then you can kneel (with knee pads obviously) and brush each part bit by bit, including the tummy.

(Sorry. I hope you find a workable solution but this thread gave me a much needed laugh this morning!)

Well she's a skewbald so nearly there.

Maybe I should spray paint the white bits!

The Wee Coloured Job says no need for spray paint - mud does a good enough job! And this was the cleaner side of the 2 ...
