Just a little topic I was thinking about...

What pieces of grooming kit would you never be without?

oo most of it! it would depends on the horse i guess

Can't live without a cheapo hairbrush, brilliant for removing dried mud, loose hair and doing manes and tails and comfortable to use because of the handle. Also bargindacious at around £1.50 from Wilko's.

I use this by far the most along with a body brush and metal curry comb. I have lots of other stuff in my grooming kit, but rarely use them.

Rubber curry comb... soooo good for moulting horseys

My absolute musts are a dandy brush, plastic curry comb and a hoofpick. But also like a body brush, rubber curry comb and mane pulling comb

Those shredder blades thingys, when you have a un-rugged horse on full turn out and you dont know where to start a shredder blade thingy is a must and a hoofpick and a pot of camrosa.

Strange, I was washing my brushes today and wondering what people have in their kits.
I have a Dandy brush, a body brush and metal curry, 2 flick brushes (one for each hand) and a water brush. Also a horsey hairbrush. None of which match..... A shedding blade and a rubber scrubber for when she's moulting.
I Used to use the cheapo brushes from the supermarkets, but the handles just snapped.
I've just invested in a Furminator.....
