Just wondering what peoples routines were, what brushes, products etc do you use to get the best results. Also is there any brushes you find your horse finds particularly relaxing to have used after a ride.
I take my horse to roll in the school as we have no turnout. That seems to get all the bedding off and helps her to remove a lot of the loose hair nicely. Her personal best is five turns over, which I would say isn't bad for 23.
Afterwards, she has a good shake and removes pretty much all the sand and rubber. I stand well clear for that bit.
ETA: When we get back, I pick her feet out, as she can't do that herself.
I am the queen of lick and promise grooming and have lost count of the number of times I've spotted embaressingly muddy ears half way round a hack.
