Which grooming trick or technique do you think makes the biggest difference to smartening your horse up?

For me it's two things, a neatly pulled tail and removing his whiskers/beard!

I'm a total neat freak and love honing my presentation skills!

Hot or damp clothing, no matter how smart and tidy on leaving the yard, a field kept non bathed pony always gets dusty on travelling.
Always been reluctant to part with £ on sprays but we have 3:
Show sheen for coat
Mane and tail detangler spray for tails.
Cowboy magic for white socks

and hardly do any showing!

Baby wipes are also great for removing dust at shows.
