Grooms attire- for stripping!!!!!

I am grooming at Suffolk for a friend, now it is a long time since I did anything at county level (and I was usually the rider)
Am I supposed to wear a hat?
What is correct to wear? Im thinking not jeans and a hoodie!
Help!

yes hat is essential.

smart trousers, shirt & tie and tweed jacket. you can if its hot swap the tweed jacket and shirt and tie for a smart blouse.

Hat is a must, I would wear a blouse with trousers, much as for in hand.

I've seen all sorts at county shows, but would think trousers, shirt and hat (obligatory).

Baseball caps just look naff, you might as well wear your jeans and hoodie if you go in wearing one of those!
