Groomsbridge Stud, also in H and H today!

It is great to see two people I know, Gemma and Sally (not forgetting their poor OH's) getting recognition in Horse and Hound.

I have to confess to being biased over the Groomsbridge article as the mare pictured, with her May I foal, is one we bred. She is by Renkum Englishman, out of a Tudorville xx mare who was a Skippy grandaughter, 3rd generation home bred, we sold her to Sally last autumn. Those big ears of hers, always looking round the next corner!

And I just love that foal.

Correct, and I'd add to that. When the seriously valuable mares, carrying equally valuable cargos, are entrusted to a stud, and that stud, regardless of the perceived value of any received horses, treat all in the same fashion, then that speaks volumes.
