Hope you've all had dinner...
My JRT was humping his bed again last night and I noticed this afternoon that the end of his winky was poking out. Three hours later, it's still there. He keeps licking it - nice. I asked one of the girls down at the yard about it and it seems that he might have a bit of a problem! Anyone know what needs to be done - I've googled it but just get nastily named beastiality websites! It's only poking out a couple of cm but I don't want it to get sore - he's fine, just keeps licking it. Friend said put some ice on it to get the swelling down which I'm going to try (sock is filled and ready) but wondered if you guys had got any ideas, I don't want the little man (or his big man) being uncomfortable.

It sounds like paraphimosis..., this can be causes by debris around the penis, when bonking objects as u suggested enabeling it to retract,this can cause permanent damage if left out of the sheath for to long...u need to phone your vet and ask for some advice, the vets more commonly uses sugar to shrink it back in, and ice to reduce swelling but in some cases if the penis has been out to long it may need to be stitched back in.(not the actual penis) lol
I would definatley phone and get some advice before doing anything yourself.
 
My dog did exactly the same thing, after it poking out for several hours we had to make a late night trip to the vets! Vet held an ice pack on it for about 20 mins then (sorry for detail!!!) pulled the skin back around the little pinky!!! She sorted it, he jumped off the chair and shook, job done!!!
You dont have to go the vet route, if you'd rather they told us t use some lube and do it ourselves!! (didnt fancy it personally!!)
 

My dog is also fond of relations with pillows and this does happen to him sometimes.. I spray with a little baby oil
and the problem is solved in a matter of seconds..
