Ground at Hickstead?

Pony is there on Sunday jumping in RC team, a bit worried about the hard ground.

Does anyone know what it's like?

I was there today. Not riding. But the grass was very green and all the horses looked happy on it. I'd say it's been heavily watered!

The ground at Hickstead is the best you'll get in this country - VERY well managed.

Depends which ring they're jumping in as the ground in the international arena is not the best way of judging what the outside rings are like. The years I've been to watch during warmer summers it's always been on the harder side...

We went on Thurs and the working hunter ring and the one behind it had def been watered. (Didn't go to the others but I would imagine they had been too)

I live fairly close to Hickstead and its raining!!!!
