Can anyone recommend me a ground feeding net/pillow able to take the weight of soaked hay? I'm giving 3.5 - 4kg twice a day soaked to a laminitic currently alongside a lot of topchop zero and oat straw, but am not happy with how she's jerking her neck about with the traditional hay net. I was looking at the "hay pillows" but not sure they wouldn't tear if used with soaked hay; as I'm feeding it, wet, it's about 9kg. But it does need to be netted else she guzzles it. Thanks

I use the Harry's Horse ones. The largest (XL) size fits half a small bale in. They're designed to be hung up, but come with ties, or you can do as I did and sew a heavy duty zip onto the opening!

I have a pulley system over my hay soaking wheelie bin so always drip for an hour before feeding (even dripping for 10 mins vastly reduces the weight). Hay pillow would then be fine.
