ok well Frankie is slightly lame on his near fore due to shoe falling off, and stony driveway (ouch

) so i wont be riding him until hes got a shoe back on and is looking sound again.

im going to go up to the yard anyway and give him a groom etc, and was going to do some groundwork with him in the school, just in walk. my instructor yesterday showed me how to get him to move laterally from the ground, and hes quite good at that

but i was wondering if there were any other things i could do?

so far i have got leg yield, turn on the forehand and moving backwards.

thanks xxx

I would recommend Richard Maxwell's books for ideas and the fearless horese by Joanna Day. I have found both of these books excellent for groundwork ideas.
