Yard owner has been jailed for 8.5 years for multiple counts of sexual assault against vulnerable young women (on the yard) and assault against a female police officer.

He was a regular fixture at onsite shows and Pony Club events.

There were previous allegations made against him of SA against a minor, which he was arrested for but charges were dropped.

All victims were liveries of Grove Farm.

Oh dear! I used to livery there back in the day and can’t say I’m surprised I always kept my distance from him. I didn’t last long there possibly 4 months but it was 4 months too long!

We’d been to a few of their shows, he had proper creep vibes so we made sure the kids were always kept in sight.

What a nasty piece of work, a good thing he was caught. Well done to the victims who spoke up, I expect it took a lot of courage.

I am a huge advocate for the police - I’ve worked for TVP and loved it - and I recognise this is how our legal system works

But it seems the assault on an emergency worker was the key factor to getting a conviction? Or is that just me? (quite possibly yes!)

It’s a travesty if so

^^^ Can't say the "N" word but that's what he'll be labelled once he is residing at His Majesty's (nearly said "Her" then) pleasure. Yes hoping it will be thoroughly unpleasant and that Karma bites back hard.

I think it was probably a key factor in the case as it shows a clear pattern of violence against women. Historic sexual assault is incredibly hard to prove, and if the police leveraged the incident against the fellow officer to get a conviction then fair enough!

He will be labelled but will also be kept separate from the main population, so he will not be in any danger & karma is unlikely to bite him hard whilst in prison, apart from not having a much access to work & education; the food is also pretty ropey
